Mission Statement

WVC 退伍军人 服务 is honored and committed to successfully supporting the educational needs of our       military-connected students.

We are 在这里 to assist our military-connected students -- prior service military, active duty personnel, national guardsmen, reservists, and family members -- with accessing VA education 好处 and other college funding.  We are available to guide students through the application process, as well as provide referrals to other on campus and community resources.

退伍军人 and family members should first apply directly to the 退伍军人 Administration for determination of eligibility.  VA Education Benefit applications may be submitted at va.gov/education/how-to-apply .

Next follow the 经验丰富的 Benefits 检查表 below and register for classes at WVC.  Required forms are submitted directly to the WVC 经验丰富的 office and can be accessed under the tabs above labeled 退伍军人 and 配偶/子女.

The VA requires these transcripts are on file for veterans using VA educational 好处.  Please submit a request through the JST site for an official transcript to be sent to 皇冠8868会员登录 Valley College.

Form should be completed by new students as well as returning students who have not been concurrently enrolled at WVC.  The form must be printed and signed on the reverse side by the student.

A waiver of all tuition and fees may be applied for a child and spouse or domestic partner of an eligible veteran or National Guard member who became totally disabled as a result of military service.  学生 must submit the 22-5490 application to the 退伍军人 Administration.  The military Certificate of Discharge, DD214 Member 4 and a copy of the VA Certificate of 资格 for Education Benefits letter must be submitted to the WVC veteran office.
